James West

Assistant Director of Marketing and Sales

James joined Prevista in 2007, becoming Assistant Director of Marketing & Sales in 2010. He actively communicates to both customers who receive our services and funding bodies who commission programmes. Recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, James combines expertise in marketing, events and communication, gained from a range of organisations, with a great depth of company knowledge. His innovative solutions are often drawn from his background in arts and cultural management.

James brings creativity and flair to Prevista but in equal measure brings a level headed and practical approach to delivery; he effectively combines the ability to innovate, demonstrate and execute to take projects to fruition. James is a keen strategist who’s not afraid to get involved on the ground level. Supporting his role with Prevista, James sits in a voluntary capacity as a Director of Creative Islington, a creative sector ambassador organisation in Islington.

Previously James ran an Arts Centre in South London, a leading Opera and Literature Festival in the Peak District and collaborated on a cultural exchanges programme between leading Dutch and British artists.
