Maria Sneddon started her hair and beauty business,
‘Elegance and Style’, through purchasing an existing
business. However, Maria was hesitant about where to
begin with pursuing her ambition. She came to Prevista
via the Business London Start Up and Micro Business
Support Programme, funded by LDA, seeking assistance
with financial planning and the putting together of a
long term business plan.
Adiel Khan, Prevista Business Adviser helped Maria put
together a proposal to secure funding from lenders to
get the business started. Maria pitched to Lloyds and
GLE and successfully secured £20,000 to redecorate and
re-equip the business and has expanded her customer
base by adding beauty and nail services.
