Prevista’s learner, Ana, had been given the opportunity by her manager to work towards becoming a shift leader. Ana wanted to gain knowledge, as well as practical skills and a better understanding of management, and so signed up for a Team Leading Level 2 Apprenticeship with Prevista.
Ana worked very successfully in partnership with her Assessor, Rebecca Gurley, to assess her needs and progress throughout her journey. In line with Prevista’s policy of tailoring our support to meet the needs and requirements of each of our Learners, Prevista’s Assessor increased her the volume of her visits and encouraged Ana to discuss her challenges with her Manager which contributed significantly to her progress. Through working together on Ana’s knowledge criteria, formal progress reviews and informal discussions after each visit Ana successfully achieved her Team Leading Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Prevista’s Assessor is very pleased with Ana’s achievements and has high hopes that she has the skills and drive to become the General Manager of the hotel soon.
