As an SME ourselves we are excellently placed to provide advice, support and guidance to microbusinesses working in the skills, employment, NEET and enterprise markets. It is in all our interests to support small niche organisations who often provide the most innovative solutions to some of the most intractable issues facing young people.
Prevista first worked with Chris Murray, founder of The Write Time, during his 14 years as a Project Manager with several well-known local and national charities. Impressed by his energy and commitment and his over-riding passion to support young people, Prevista was delighted to support his new venture when he decide to launch The Write Time in 2014.
The Write Time was initially created to set up a specific mentoring programme to work with young people that were identified as being at risk of becoming permanently excluded from mainstream education. Soon after launching, The Write Time approached Prevista for support in funding for its programme. Prevista were the lead partner for the GLA/ESF RATED programme, which was working with students that were struggling to engage in mainstream education. Prevista encouraged The Write Time to submit a formal Expression of Interest to join our supply chain and we supported them throughout the due diligence process.
Chris explains the impact of Prevista’s initial and ongoing support:
