Unleashing Enterprise
Prevista complete a three year campaign designed to raise interest in the development and implementation of enterprise skills and culture in the East Midlands.
Working alongside the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA), Prevista led a project known as Unleashing Enterprise (UE) which supported and encouraged innovation and opportunities for entrepreneurs throughout all boroughs in the East Midlands. The programme was designed with three key strands:
- To help facilitate a more cohesive and planned approach to the development and delivery of the enterprise skills offer in the East Midlands, through the utilisation of strategic bodies and frameworks.
- To help build a multi-agency partnership of educators and influencers to increase the range and quality of enterprise skills delivery in the East Midlands and thereby contribute to a culture of enterprise.
- To promote opportunities for young people to take up the enterprise skills offer in their schools, communities or places of work.
Over the last three years UE has delivered the programme through a series of annual operational plans which have focussed on the following areas of activity:
- To grow Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) activity into a year round campaign aimed at educators, influencers, businesses, agencies and individuals.
- To build a region wide partnership of enterprise educators, influencers, agencies and individuals motivated and resourced to promote, develop and deliver enterprise skills activity within and across their respective networks and for their target group.
- To develop and deliver bespoke, targeted, campaigns including the Enterprising Streak Campaign and others in line with agreed priorities. These focused primarily on school, FE and HE curricula activity and the promotion of youth entrepreneurship.
