Work Based Learning >> Funded Customer Service NVQs

The Customer Services NVQ recognise how well your staff handle your clients and customers and improve any areas which need development.

Every business knows the value of giving good customer service and the value to the bottom line, just as we have all experienced bad customer service and how this effects our next purchasing division.  These courses help to increase your client/customer retention and acquisition.

What’s the process?

The candidate attends an induction workshop with a qualified assessor specialising in customer services, this lasts approximately two hours.  This helps to identify the candidate’s appropriate learning path and answers all their questions regarding the qualification.  They will be assigned a dedicated assessor to guide and advise them through the coming weeks.  The candidate will then attend three one day workshops with other candidates of a similar level.  These are evenly spread over a three week period giving continuity and structure to the learning.

Work-based assessments are then undertaken with an assessor, at your place of work therefore minimising the time the candidate spends away from work.   At each visit, the assessor will direct the candidate into building a portfolio of evidence to prove the learner is undertaking their job tasks in line with the national standards.  Where learning is required the assessor will assist and guide the candidate to ensure all evidence is produced.

To achieve these qualifications there is no need to sit through weeks, months or years of study classes, and there are no exams to sit at the end!
