What’s the process?

The candidate attends an induction workshop with a qualified assessor specialising in team leadership and management, this lasts approximately two hours.  This helps to identify the candidate’s appropriate learning path and answers all their questions regarding the qualification.  They will be assigned a dedicated assessor to guide and advise them through the coming weeks.

The candidate will then attend two full days training workshops. These workshops will arm the candidate with all the underpinning knowledge to complete the mandatory units.

Work-based assessments are then undertaken with an assessor, at your place of work, minimising the time the candidate spends away from their work.  At each visit, the assessor will direct the candidate into building a portfolio of evidence to prove the candidate is undertaking their job tasks in line with the national standards.  Where learning is required the assessor will assist and guide the candidate to ensure all the evidence is produced.

To achieve this qualification there is no need to sit through weeks, months or years of study classes, and there are no exams to sit at the end.
