In August 2014 Prevista achieved a Grade 2 grade for our delivery and provision of Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning qualifications. The Grade 2 rating was achieved across all principal criteria including Outcomes for Learners; Quality of teaching, learning & assessment; Effectiveness of Leadership & Management. Amongst the evidence for a “good” grading, the report states:
“The development of learners’ information and communication technology and practical skills in a variety of workplace settings is good”.
“Teachers carefully monitor the progress of learners and support those who fall behind with their learning particularly effectively”.
“Leaders and managers at all levels promote strongly the importance of equality and diversity particularly effectively so that they permeate learning and enhance learners’ understanding”.
This standard recognises that Prevista places customer needs and feedback at the centre of everything we do. Prevista regained our Customer First Accreditation in May 2016 for the 8th time since 2005. Our 2016 Customer First report stated:
“Prevista really understands its marketplace, its customers and the services required and Prevista was able to clearly demonstrate how much the customer means to them in delivering to its wide range of stakeholders”.
This accreditation demonstrated our commitment not only to customers but also to staff, Supply Chain Partners and Funders. We used this assessment as an opportunity to demonstrate how our core values of ‘Honesty’, ‘Integrity’, ‘Trustworthiness’, ‘Adaptability’, ‘Supportive’ guide the business.
Prevista holds the Matrix Standard, which is the established quality Standard for organisations delivering information, advice and guidance (IAG). The IAG given to our customers helps support them in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
In March 2017 Prevista were awarded Investors in People (IiP) Gold, the highest possible level of IiP accreditation achieved by only 20% of organisations who complete the IiP process.
The IiP online assessment was sent to all Prevista employees and interviews were carried out with a cross section of staff from all levels and departments. The independent IiP report states:
“Interviews confirm the openness of the culture and the variety of ways in which they are supported to perform to the best of their ability; Prevista continues to operate with considerable transparency, which is reflected in the collegiate nature of the Company and Team Briefing sessions. The Company Briefings are characterised with genuine two-way flow of information and ideas, with break out groups to identify solutions for key challenges a regular feature”.
This standard recognises Prevista for the application of consistent quality systems including customer liaison, focused leadership, involvement of people, managing performance, supplier relationships and continual development.
This ISO standard recognises Prevista’s comprehensive information security controls and the approach to managing risk.
