Prevista contract success: ‘Supply of Skills Support For the Workforce and Redundancy Support’ – Hertfordshire LEP

Prevista is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract to deliver the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) contract ‘Supply of Skills Support For the Workforce and Redundancy Support’ contract in the Hertfordshire LEP region.

For this contract we will use our extensive local employer network to identify learners who require in-work upskilling support which will contribute to them gaining a qualification. We will deliver services and activities which will enable them to gain a recognised accredited qualification, providing bespoke training courses which will enhance their skills, increase the competitiveness of the employer’s business and boost the local economy in Hertfordshire.

We will provide a flexible service for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal settings, upgrading their knowledge, skills and competencies, and promoting flexible pathways including careers guidance and the validation of acquired competencies to enable them to pursue a more ambitious career to improve their livelihoods.

Prevista ESF Skills Support for the Unemployed success – Coast to Capital LEP

Prevista is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract to deliver the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) contract ‘Skills Support For the Unemployed’ contract in the Coast to Capital LEP region.

We will deliver an innovative programme which supports activity to increase the labour market participation of Coast to Capital residents which will improve social inclusion and mobility across the region. This will include delivering a bespoke support and vocational support training programme, complemented by Work Experience or Work “Tasters”, to local residents aged 16+ who are seeking to return to the labour market. Activities will support residents to overcome the barriers they may face when moving into work (including self-employment) to enable them to progress onto a range of positive outcomes including employment, education, apprenticeships or traineeships.

All services and activities have been designed to meet the priorities identified by the Coast to Capital LEP.

ESF Supporting NEETs London South

Prevista is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract to deliver the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) contract ‘Skills Support For Those who are not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET’ across South London.

We will use our rich experience and expertise from delivering similar services across South London to deliver an innovative programme which will transform the lives of local young people aged 15-24 and enable them to progress successfully into a variety of educational and employment routes, including Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

Using our fixed premises in Merton and Croydon, as well as our outreach sites across Sutton, Richmond and Kingston we will use our established relationships with local stakeholders such as Local Authority Service Teams, employers and Community Groups to enable us to respond to the needs of each young person with tailored support to ensure they move into the most beneficial placement.

DWP ESF Hertfordshire LEP Contract Success

Prevista is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract from the Department of Work and Pensions to deliver a two year programme which will support the upskilling of Health & Social Care learners and drive local productivity and growth in the Hertfordshire LEP region. Through our ‘Growing Care for Skills’ programme we will deliver services and activities which will improve learners’ basic skills and support them to achieve either a Level 2 qualification, or gain Level 3 qualifications which can lead to further higher Apprenticeships.

Through the delivery of this pan-LEP programme we will deliver provision which enhances learners’ access to lifelong learning and takes participants through a tailored, flexible journey which upgrades their knowledge, skills and competence and upskills them to gain higher wages and enhances their personal and professional career prospects.

This contract will support our growing provision in the Hertfordshire LEP region which has recently included the successful delivery of the ESF Skills Support for the Workforce programme.

Slough Borough Contract Early Years Contract Success

Prevista is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract from Slough Borough Council to deliver an exciting and innovative programme which will support the upskilling of local learners from a wide diversity of backgrounds to undertake Children and Young People Level 2 and Early Years Educator Level 3 qualifications. Delivering this programme will ensure we support Slough Borough Council’s local strategy to improve local productivity and growth in the local region.

This contract will support our growing provision in local Slough borough and Thames Valley LEP area.

Following an independent inspection from Matrix this month, we are pleased to announce that Prevista has maintained our Matrix accreditation for another year.

Smart Training has helped hundreds of 16-18 year olds find entry into employment, Apprenticeship opportunities or supported getting them into their chosen college if they didn’t meet the required entry requirements. We promise to spend one day a week helping you to get ready for the world of work, support your Functional skills abilities in Maths and English, plus two days voluntary placements in your chosen industry with constructive feedback and the possibility of finding employment. To help with all this we can also pay towards your travel costs, lunch and even free breakfast on your study day. We have rich experience and expertise gained from working with a wide variety of employers including The Great British Library, Just IT, Blue Inc, Snappy Snaps, to name just a few!
