There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

Our funding for this qualification is suitable for learners of 18 years of age and above.

The qualification develops learners' knowledge and understanding in order to care for children 

and young people. 

Providing learners with basic knowledge of childcare, development, play and 

babysitting will allow learners to make informed decisions when caring for children and young 

people.
