What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced MIS professional with team leadership experience with data analysis skills, you will be required to have PDSAT and ILR submission experience and understanding of government funding rules. This is a great opportunity for an organised professional, with an excellent eye for detail.

JOB ROLE

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data management and submission processes, ensuring claims are submitted on time, fit for purpose and contractual compliant.
  • To ensure that the business has accurate, relevant and timely management information across all contracts in order to successfully achieve financial and delivery performance targets.
  • Manage the claims process for each of our funders.
  • Responsible for the claims administrators and line management support through all its submission of delivery evidence and supporting MI systems in accordance with its funders claim reporting deadlines.
  • To support quality assurance and control including auditing both internal and external
  • Have a full understanding of funding rules and keep abreast of regular updates received (Apprenticeship, Traineeship, AEB and Advanced Learner Loans)
  • Manage submission caseload in accordance with funders deadlines (ESFA, ESF, ERDF, BIS, and DWP)
  • Ensure that claim submissions are quality checked in accordance with contract eligibility and specification.
  • Manage database system, support, and development to capture areas of the business in line with both funders and business requirements
  • Ensuring that all new staff are inducted into the claims process.
  • Information gathering to implement changes to data systems and update training manuals accordingly.
  • Manage the `Help Desk` for queries or issues relating to the Claims Team.
  • Deputise for the Claims Manager when required

CANDIDATE SKILLS

Requirements:

  • Experience of policies and procedures relevant to the sector and Prevista’s funders and awarding bodies requirements.
  • Effective team management experience
  • Ability to positively influence individuals at all levels
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent management of learner information systems
  • Excellent knowledge of ICT applications as above
  • In-depth knowledge and full understanding of SFA/ESF/DWP funded contracts
  • Ability to communicate information to managers, team members, trainers, and partners.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to coordinate the work of others.
  • IT literate particularly with MS Office
  • High standards of Customer Service
  • Experience/or knowledge of training and the public sector
