about Haleema

Haleema joined an already established group. She had previously started university but had decided that it was not for her.

She knew that she wanted a career in Digital Marketing but didn’t feel she had the experience needed for the career opportunities in her chosen industry.

tell us about your APPRENTICESHIP experience?

Through classes and regular meetings, Haleema was able to study a subject that she had a passion for. She was then able to put some of her course knowledge into action in her work placement. This enabled her to gain confidence in her career choice and feel excited about what she was doing.

WHAT ARE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS?

Haleema since completed a CIM course, which she has funded herself and is now looking to apply for jobs in social media management and/ or public relations.

Haleema said: "the programme has given me the chance to socialise with people who I wouldn’t normally get to. I've learnt a lot about other people’s cultures and improved my own communication skills.”

ANY FURTHER COMMENTS?

“This is the best thing I have ever done. I wish that I had done this instead of going to university. I learnt so much on this course and I loved the work we did with our employer."
