ANN

Ann had aspirations of opening her own cleaning company but with no previous qualifications she lacked the skills and confidence to do so.

Working at the Chelsea Theatre as a general cleaner, Ann had been out of education for a number of years so she found the prospect of gaining new qualifications daunting. However, in order to improve in her current role and eventually open up her own company she needed current and up-to-date knowledge on health and safety procedures. She decided to complete the Level 2 Cleaning and Support Services Apprenticeship.

Thanks to the patience and support of Sebastian Chambers, her Prevista assessor, she has been able to get her learning back on track and is now completing her work with ease, remaining on schedule to complete her apprenticeship on time.

By updating Ann’s manager regularly with her progress, along with formal progress reviews every eight – ten weeks, Sebastian has ensured that Ann has support from her employer as well as Prevista whilst completing her apprenticeship.

Once completed, Ann hopes to move into a team leading role to expand upon her existing skills and gain further experience to help her achieve her career aspirations.
