HULYA

Hulya is Aylward Academy’s Student Co-ordinator, in her role she manages six Sixth Formers who work at the school to support her department. Wanting to improve her IT and team leading skills, Hulya decided to embark on an apprenticeship journey with Prevista. Hulya’s Assessor, Rebecca Gurley, is thrilled with her development so far:

“Hulya’s major area of improvement and focus has been her IT skills. Even though she doesn’t use many software packages in her day today role, she wanted to use our sessions to improve and up skill herself. She has been excellent at working to the deadlines I have set and has been enthusiastic to learn new skills”

Beverley James, Hulya’s manager, agrees:

“Hulya is the heart of the school, all the student and teachers have a great relationship with her as she is so supportive. Since Hulya started the apprenticeship I have noticed her team leading skills improve and her relationship with the sixth formers develop into an even stronger bond. Tasks are being carried out even more efficiently and Hulya has become a role model for her young team”

Still in the process of completing her apprenticeship, Hulya is already looking to the future:

“I’ve been so happy with my progress so far. Rebecca’s tuition has helped grow my confidence not only in work but also in my personal life. The qualification is helping me to gain new skills for the future and I am already considering moving on to an advanced apprenticeship after I complete this qualification”.
