She still struggled with work due to the language barrier; however, her tutor Cristina held sessions with her so they could break down the work into more manageable tasks. They also discussed gaining evidence by conducting professional discussions and observations, as well as Kamila sitting with the manager and using this support line to complete tasks around policies and procedures (which also helped with 20% OTJT).

Kamila was also referred to functional skills support to get ready for exams. Kamila worked hard for her functional skills and has managed to reach Level 2 in both English and maths! With the help of her tutor, she now has completed Unit 2 – EYFS, ERR, and Unit 3 – equality and diversity. Well done, Kamila!
