Are you 15-24 and still feeling the negative effects of Lockdown and the Pandemic? ‘Shine’ is an innovative programme made to help young people get rid of barriers to their employment. Each day of the six week programme will contain a mix of activities to ensure you develop as a well-rounded individual.

What will happen on the course?
You will be supported in taking up employment or training appropriate to your career aspirations including traineeships or apprenticeships.
We will provide support to you and those in need of more intensive and tailored interventions to help you re-engage with education, training or employment.
We will also arrange opportunities for you if you are seeking employment and matching you with employers experiencing skills shortages following Covid-19 pandemic.
You will be provided with advice, training and support if you decide to choose routes into self-employment
We will provide you with a mentor to support your employment and personal development journey and keep you engaged whilst on the course.
We will support your specific needs if you are a young, single parent, to overcome barriers to employment such as childcare.
If you need it, we will address the basic skills need eg Maths, English, Digital Skills.
If you have been made redundant following the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CVJRS), we will retrain and/or re-motivate you and provide you with the skills to move into a more stable industry or instead, help you to get back into a similar role.
On the programme, you will secure valuable work experience and pre-employment training opportunities helping you to gain an advantage in the labour market.
