PREVISTA WORK EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY

James and Louis were invited to gain invaluable work experience at one of London’s leading employment and training providers, Prevista Ltd over the summer of 2017. As a leading industry expert in providing their customers with apprenticeship, traineeship and work experience opportunities, James and Louis felt that they could learn a great deal from working for such an experienced provider.

James and Louis worked under the supervision of HR and Office Facility Leads, Alison Raphael and Eleni Lavaridou, and were given a wide variety of challenges and tasks to complete which enabled them to have a comprehensive understanding of how a modern, dynamic office works. This included supporting the facilities function and corresponding and working with senior staff to organise events. James and Louis contributed hugely to the success of a highly important Youth Employment and Activities event organised by Mohamed Reffas and which was at aimed at supporting the most vulnerable young Londoners re-engage in education, employment and training.

Additionally, they also supported the Quality, Compliance and Supply Chain departments to ensure they received the best, and most comprehensive, understanding of how a modern training provider operates.. Both James and Louis were delighted with the support they received from all Prevista staff.

Prevista’s Managing Director, James Clements Smith commented that ‘James and Louis worked very hard at their time at Prevista and were a real credit to themselves. They demonstrated that bright, confident, respectful and willing to learn. I have very high hopes for their future success’. As a result, Jayne Llewelyn, Business and Community Liaison Co-ordinator for Queens Park Community School, sent a letter to Prevista to express a huge thank you on behalf of the school for supporting its Work Experience Placement programme. She stated that she would be delighted if we could host students again next year. James and Louis’ parents also thanked Prevista and commented how the experience has really benefited James and louis as they continue their education.
